Thy Will Media exists to bridge the gap between powerful cinema and Kingdom impact. We create authentic, high-quality films and media inspired by true testimonies — honest stories of flawed people encountering hope, healing, and transformation in Jesus Christ.

We’ve witnessed firsthand how a well-crafted film can open hearts, spark conversations, and lead people to encounter Jesus. From remote villages to bustling cities, we pray our stories will be used by God to bring hope, healing, transformation, and salvation.

As former non-believers ourselves, we craft powerful, non-preachy narratives that meet people where they are — emotionally honest portrayals of doubt, struggle, and redemption through the grace of Jesus. Every project is rooted in prayer, guided by biblical principles, and pursued with excellence. We constantly ask: “Does this glorify God? Does this serve the Church? Does this advance the Gospel?”

+We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of the One True Living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the same yesterday, today, and forever.

+We believe Jesus was born on this earth to be our Savior, Redeemer, and Healer.

+We believe Jesus died for our sins, rose from the dead, triumphed over the grave, took the keys of authority from the enemy, and gave them to His Church.

+We believe God remembers our sins no more. Through Jesus, we are cleansed, redeemed, and restored to right relationship with God.

+We believe Jesus is now seated at the right hand of God in Heaven, where He intercedes for us until He returns for His Bride.

+We believe that when anyone sincerely asks Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior, they are saved and become part of the Kingdom of God.

+We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

+We believe that praying in tongues is perfect prayer, direct to the Father, unhindered by the enemy.

+We believe the Word of God is powerful and alive. When we speak His Word in faith, God is willing and able to perform it.

+We believe our God is a miracle-working God and nothing is impossible for Him, for He is the Author and Creator of all things.

+We believe God has given us authority over the enemy. We believe in the healing power of God — that when we lay hands on the sick, they will recover.

+We also believe in the great end-time Harvest and the Rapture of the Church before the Tribulation.

Our Leadership Team

Leann Lei

Founder & Creative Director

Born and raised in China, Leann Lei was shaped by her close-knit family and a deep love for storytelling from a young age. She received classical training in opera and piano across China, Austria, and the United States, and earned a Master of Arts.

A bold and passionate dreamer, Leann left the security of two tenured teaching positions in China and later walked away from a third one in Kentucky to pursue happiness. A powerful film scene in college — zooming from the vast universe down to the skin on a single human life — ignited her belief that life is short, challenges are temporary, and every story matters.

Driven by a relentless passion to create meaningful cinema, she has acted in many prime TV series and starred in independent films. She also produced, and directed many independent films and award-winning shorts. In 2018, Leann’s life was radically transformed. By God's grace, she gave her life to Jesus Christ. Today, God is beautifully using her boldness, creativity, and passion for storytelling to serve His Kingdom: creating powerful, authentic films that spread the Gospel, bring hope, and point hearts toward salvation.

James Lopez

Co-Founder & Executive Director

James Lopez is a talented Multimedia Designer, Photographer, and Filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in graphic design, motion graphics, video editing, branding, and photography.

Skilled in various design disciplines, James has worked on a wide range of projects including branding, product photography, and motion graphics. He has contributed to multiple independent films as a graphic designer, production manager, and sound mixer.

James gave his life to Jesus as a teenager but later drifted away from his faith for many years until, through the love and grace of Jesus Christ, he experienced a powerful restoration. His heart was renewed, and he returned fully to a close, intimate relationship with God. James is a living testimony of God’s redeeming power and grace.

Today, James serves alongside his wife Leann at Thy Will Media, using his design, photography, sound mixing, and production skills to advance the Gospel through film.

James brings creativity, excellence, and a servant’s heart to everything he does, joyfully using his talents for God’s Kingdom.
